The Collective is a consortium of online Christian education providers that are committed to increasing access to Kingdom education across the globe. The participating providers share a commitment to elevating the reputation and cause of high-quality online Christian learning to serve the unique needs of individual students through the recognition that no one program is best suited for every child.

There are multiple anticipated phases of offerings from The Collective. The first is this site, which exists to be a landing place for combined digital marketing strategies, to house thought-leadership materials, and to raise awareness of online learning. We believe everyone benefits from working together in raising awareness and marketing.

In tandem with the launch of this site, The Collective is drafting quality standards for online programs that would stand beside ACSI’s Inspire accreditation protocol and create a framework for the training and certification (or micro-credentialing) of teachers in online environments.

The Collective is a product of ACSI’s Strategic Incubator and is an offering of ACSI’s Educational Resources Department, which is committed to addressing the need for high-quality biblically-based educational resources across the world. ACSI’s content strategy involves three C’s: convening excellent resources from leading providers, curating from other sources as available, and creating new resources where there are unmet needs. The Collective is a part of the convening part of that strategy, with a goal of connecting schools, families, and learners from all over to the best educational resources to meet their unique needs.

Currently, The Collective is funded and led by ACSI. ACSI does own one of the providers, Sevenstar, but is committed to promoting all members of The Collective as the right potential “fit” for various constituencies.

The Collective originated from a meeting hosted by ACSI in the Spring of 2023 in which leading online schools and curriculum providers were invited to discuss opportunities for convening content and partnering together in the spirit of ACSI’s mantra, “Stronger Together.” These initial participants were not the only organizations that were invited to the meeting, but they are those that elected to participate. Those meetings gave birth to The Collective and its resulting products and services.

Note, inclusion in this consortium does not reflect an endorsement from ACSI of each provider’s courses or content but rather represents a demonstrated commitment to excellence, a mutual passion and conviction for serving student learners uniquely and individually, and a deeply held alignment with ACSI’s statement of faith. Most of the inaugural members are ACSI member schools, but not all. Inaugural members include:
